You must read these Terms and Conditions in full. In accepting any Scholarship from the Trust, you warrant that you have read and understood and agreed to comply with these Terms and Conditions. The terms and conditions may be updated periodically. If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions on your behalf.

Accepting your scholarship

Successful Scholarship applicants will receive a letter of offer that details the Scholarship benefit and payment timing. If you do not wish to go ahead with the Scholarship you are offered, you must advise us immediately in writing.

How your scholarship is paid

All scholarship recipients will receive their funds via direct bank deposit. Once the recipients have been notified they are successful they will be required to provide bank details for the distribution of their funds.

At the end of each semester (or 6 months) in which you receive a Scholarship you will be asked to provide a report detailing how the Scholarship funds have been spent. It is the responsibility of the Scholarship recipient to provide this report to the Trust when requested. The report template will be provided with the letter of offer.

Keeping your contact details up to date

All hardcopy correspondence during the application process will be sent to your nominated address in your application.

Scholarship recipients must advise the Trust if they change their address or place of study during the course of their scholarship. This can be done by email to scholarship@yal.org.au
