Young Australia League Give a “hand up” to young people in need.

Young Australia League Ltd, known by many as simply YAL, has been helping support and shape the future of young people since it was first established in 1905. For over 110 years the YAL has been connecting young people, mentoring, and creating opportunities for them.

YAL’s Camp Simons at Araluen in the Perth Hills, YAL sporting groups, bands, dances and excursions have helped to enrich the lives of Perth youth over several decades. While these activities are now part of our past, the focus of YAL is still to provide young people with support to achieve their potential.

The YAL museum at our office on Murray St, Perth, is a testament to the organisation’s rich history; displaying relics, mementos and memories gathered throughout our young YAL members’ educational journeys to Europe and America and their many “at home” activities. A theme of remembrance and an indelible link to the wars and those YAL members who made the ultimate sacrifice will be realised through any museum tour.

Strategic Plan

It’s official YAL has an official strategic plan for the next 5 years and we couldn’t be more excited to share our future goals with you.
